This song, by Billy Joel, was released on his 1993 album ‘River of Dreams’, which went straight to No. 1 in the Billboard charts, with nominations for four Grammy awards.
Around that time, Billy had been going through a divorce settlement with his wife Christie Brinkley (who designed the album cover) and was trying to explain such matters to his seven year-old daughter, when she asked him the question ‘What happens when we die?’ (arrangement by Kirk Young)
